So, it was my fiance's turn to pick a movie to rent this weekend and he selected "21". I never heard anything about it before except that it was about casinos. I was surprised by how good it was.

The storyline is about a group of MIT students whose teacher trains them to count cards and they go to Vegas every weekend and win lots of money. The main I really liked the characters, especially Ben; I felt like they were very real. Jim Sturgess (of "Across the Universe") played Ben, and Kevin Spacey played the teacher. You would think a movie about playing lots of cards would be kind of slow too, but they used a lot of close-up shots and stuff that made it cool.
And the ending was a total surprise, but it worked out pretty well. Has anyone else seen it?

Yes, Christina, I've heard of it and when we went to see "The Dark Knight" I think, we saw the previews of it. It looked like it was pretty good. I think its playing on PPV on DirecTV this month. We may have to check it out! Thumbsup

Yes, I saw 21 maybe a month ago. It is a great movie!! I thought it was pretty believeable too...this bright college kid who rather fell into this 'easy' way to make money. It was too good to be true! I really liked the actor who played the lead---I'd never seen him before this!

I seen this movie. It was good movie. My mind went blank. I had look it up on google. I was like 21? lol. So many movies I seen over the pass years. I forget, what their all about.
