I started attending classes several weeks ago & although I don't go each & everytime they have them, I am really enjoying them. This is despite the fact that I have no rhythm! grinsmiley

I also like the fact that the classes are only an hour in length, the time goes by fast & you do get a workout. Has anyone else tried it?

Most of the songs I have never heard of though our teacher throws in different songs from time to time. Right now we are doing the newest ones by Enrique Iglesias & Kesha & one of my favorites is "Jump In The Line (Shake, Shake Senora)" by Harry Belafonte.

I've never tried it, but I've noticed that you really seem to be enjoying it! I'm glad for you. It makes it a lot easier to get a good workout when it's something that's fun at the same time!

Yeah, Savannah, it really is fun and it is great exercise! I do both that and walking, but the Zuma burns so many more calories so I do it as much as possible.

My girl friend (not girlfriend), does the Zumba, she loves it.

For me, I rollerblade by the lake, that's my thing ;-)

P.S. I love their motto, "Zumba® — Ditch the workout, Join the party!" hehe,

Don't party too hard there Misti!!!
I wish I knew how to rollerblade! But I never even got the hang of rollerskating but it looks really fun! I do envy those that can do it! I've been to two different classes & they are basically the same; just a few different songs but mostly the same. That is why I alternate; I get bored doing the same thing over & over. Oh, don't need to worry about me partying too hard...you can find me crumpled on the floor when its over! ROTFL

It is VERY fun! It's basically aerobic/dance. Each class is different though as each teacher does different dances. I do the tapes for now. Really fun dancegirl

Although I love the classes, I'd love to get one of the tapes for home. I alternate with the two classes I go to because there are different moves and such. That is cool that you work out to the CD's! Did you get them off the website?

Misti!!! ROTFL

I think I need to try this! Looks like fun! Thumbsup What I've learned though is that you have to mix up the exercise routines---no matter how fun it is for a time, it's going to become monotonous if you don't incorporate it with other stuff. Good for you though, Misti---getting out there and getting a good work out! You go girl!! dancegirl

Yep. As a matter of fact we do. They have it at my gym which is a gym for employees at my work. They have a lot of different classes. It's pretty cool.

I agree, Amy! I mix that up my Zumba with walking; at my best I go four miles during it. HeeHee

Actually during the class you go as fast or as slow as you want! That is the beauty of it. Thumbsup You should try it at least once. grinsmiley

Your welcome, Vanesa! Do they have exercises like that near you?
