Manuscript pitch

Hello all,

I feel a bit silly requesting this, but it's important to me, and I know I'll be praying about it. I just sent off a 250-word pitch to the organizer of an online writers conference I attend each year. If selected, I will have the opportunity to pitch my latest children's picture book manuscript to an agent.

One confirmed pitch session so far. Not with the agent, directly to a small publisher. Still praying the I get in with the agent too.

Well, I didn't get a session with the agent, but I'm still pitching on Monday to the publisher. Would appreciate prayers for an acceptance of my next manuscript.

Thanks Pam. Well, the publisher said she would like me to send it along for her first chapter readers. Downside, not publishing it until 2015. Decisions, decisions.

I'll keep praying. Publishing is NOT an easy thing. I've also published a book some time ago, and it was a big deat to cope with. I know what you are going through.
