I LOVED IT!!! In fact, I just watched it the other day......I had taped the whole thing and made copies for people and mailed it off and never got to see the last episode of it.........It stuck more closely to the books, than the one ML was in......although, the movement of the camera made it hard to watch at times...but it was very well done....I am in the minority with this one, and also the Beyond the Prairie ones.....

I'm with you Rhonda. I thought it was good. I don't care for the camera movement, but other than that it was good. I thought Danielle and Kyle did excellant jobs. I do wish it had gone at least one season. It would have been great to see Carrie being born.
It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart
I liked this version too. And I agree, it matched very closely with the books. I think that's why I liked it so much, it was like bringing the books to life in a way.
I also agree with Rhonda and Gin about not liking some of the camera angles used in the movie. They almost made me feel dizzy sometimes. That is my only complaint though. I watched it when it was first aired and then again recently and enjoyed it both times just as much.
