This is very important.....Tonight's the night!! Everybody needs to set their alarms and get up at about 1:55 AM so they can be prepared to set their clocks back an hour at 2:00 AM. Don't forget!!! Set those alarm clocks, people!
(Or you can cheat and turn it back before you go to bed....but don't tell the Time Change Police that I said that. )

HeeHee I already turned some of mine back this morning......just because I won't be looking at those clocks throughout the day.....thought I'd get a headstart.....But PLEASE... don't tell the Time Change Police.....cuz they would come to investigate and then call the Mattress Police about the missing tags...... Ooops

I won't tell the Time Change Police, if everyone promises not to tell on me since I already changed all my clocks back. Didn't want to forget!

Our clocks went back last week so we had an extra hour's sleep to prepare for Hallowe'en! Smile

Last night I was still up when I saw the clock on the cable box change from 1:59 to 1:00. So there went my extra hour of sleep! Blue

I always prefer this time of year. I am one of the few crazy people out there, I think, that much prefers longer nights than longer days. I love it when we can go back to this time again.

Does anyone know where it is in America where they don't participate in daylight saving time? They always stay at this time. I heard it once, but I can't remember where it was.

I don't think Indiana does daylight savings.

Quote :
Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii and the territories of Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa are the only places in the U.S. that do not observe DST but instead stay on "standard time" all year long. And if you've spent any time in the sweltering summer sun in those regions you can understand why residents don't need another hour of sunlight.
The Dawning of DST in Indiana

Until April 2005, when Indiana passed a law agreeing to observe daylight saving time, the Hoosier state had its own unique and complex time system. Not only is the state split between two time zones, but until recently, only some parts of the state observed daylight saving time while the majority did not.

That was news to me about Arizona and Hawaii! I thought that Indiana had been the lone "holdout".
