Please keep in your thoughts and prayers 2 dear friends who are mourning the loss of loved ones this week. My friend Sharon's youngest son Marco, who was 13, died after complications from diabetes last week and was buried on Monday. I can't even begin to imagine what losing a child at any time must be like, much less so near to Christmas.

While at Marco's funeral it was announced that another friend's husband had died leaving an 18 year old son and 14 year old daughter. John was out shopping with the family on Saturday and felt unwell. By the time he got to hospital he's suffered a massive stroke and died on Monday morning. So quick and such a terrible shock for ftiends and family alike.

I haven't been able to get both families out of my mind and would ask that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. It sure puts the un-necessary stress and worry of Christmas shopping into perspective.

Thanks in advance for all your prayers.

What terrible news around Christmas. I'll definitely be keeping both families in my prayers.

Thank you, Cheryl and Pam. Your prayers will certainly help heal their heavy hearts.

They will be in my prayers too Maureen. Focus on the good memories, and remember to send the families a note in 6 months as this will be a long healing process.

Oh, how tragic Maureen. I am so sorry to hear this. No I can't imagine losing someone so close to the holidays, whether you're 'prepared' or not. I will keep both families in my prayers.

I know I'm late to answer this mesage, but I'll pray for these two families. It must be so awful to loss a so young child..13 years old...I can't figure out how his parents must feel after Marco's death. How horrible...

As for the date, these two families have to mourn their beloved ones, I know very well how they are feeling. My grandpa died some six years ago, in December 22 and we were burying him 23... Blue

Vanesa.
