He's 13 years old. Like Justin Beiber he was discovered through YouTube. Unlike Beiber, I think this kid has a chance (pun?) to make a long career from his talent. He wrote a song, "Stars" that blew me away. Its about a man who misses his wife who died of cancer but knows he will see her again, in the stars. I will see if I can find the link.

Oh my gosh, where does a talent like that COME from?!? Unreal. Definitely love this kid, and I agree with you Joe, he has 'staying power', as they say in the biz.
And as I see him sitting at the piano, singing with a voice like that, I just have to imagine how it would feel to be this child's parent. I could listen to that all day long!

Yep, I sure do....I loved him! Greyson's a little older though (I think??)....and hopefully his voice has changed? I'm not really sure actually---there's a depth to it but I can't tell if it's changed yet. He has quite the sound though. And LOL, I found this on youtube the other night was I was looking for him. SO STINKIN' CUTE!
I think I'd freak out if my kid sang like this at 5!!

I absolutely LOVE Billy Gilman! I met him at one of his concerts once, he is such a talented singer and seems like a genuinely nice kid. But this boy kind of reminds me of him too, Gin - Greyson doesn't really sound like Billy, (although his voice reminds me a little bit of the tone of Billy's as he got a little older), but he has such a beautiful voice. And thank you for sharing those lyrics, Joe! I wonder how he learned to write like that? What a gift!
