| Words from an "old guy"  Physically, boys are generally meaner than girls (though I've seen some pretty tough women in my day), but when it comes to words that cut to the bone, in my experience with my daughters, girls win hands down. Guys like to settle things, but generally don't act like a friend to your face then stab you in the back. If they don't like you, they don't like you, that's pretty much it, although spreading rumors among their friends about a girl that aren't true are just as bad I suppose. It's little consolation, but it's happened for generations, and will continue I suppose. But when you're young, you bounce back quick. What's a HUGE problem today will be gone in a week. Trust me. :) | |
