There was a horrible fire Tuesday night in rural Pennsylvania. I grew up about 5 miles from where this happened. Although I don't personally know the family I would appreciate your prayers for them. I just can't understand why things like this have to happen...

Here is a link to the story if anyone is interested in seeing it.

I dont believe there is a worse way to go. I worked in a nursing home in 1990 in which we had a fire and lost 3 people that night, 6 others the week after. I was amazed at what it does to you physically and emotionally.
I feel so sorry for these parents. Those kids had such beautiful names too. I hope they dedicate a park in their memory.

I heard about this. How very tragic. I can't imagine losing so many of my kids all at once.

How horrible to lose all those young lives. I feel for the parents.

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

Those crazy jerks from the Westboro Baptist Church are planning to protest the children's funeral. How low can they get? Ranting

Some people are so bigoted. If they claim to be Christians(they most certainly aren't), they should show God's love.

I wish they'd take the name of Baptist, and the word "Church" out of their name. They aren't a church when they spread that kind of hate. The whole reason for the church is to share God's love with people. This cruelty isn't what the Bible teaches. This poor, precious family is suffering indescribable agony, and there is nothing Christian about intentionally causing them to suffer more.

*Edited to add....I'm not ranting at you, Debbie. Those heartless people just really completely tick me off.

A "church" in name only. They're basically all relatives of one elderly nut-job named Fred Phelps who believes that everything bad that happens in America (or to America) is because of God's anger over the country's tolerance of homosexuality.

Anyone may think what he believes about certains issues. I'm not to liberal, I must said...But a funeral is a funeral and MUST be held. Those poor children are not culprit on anything that adults could do. They are dead now and they need a Christian Funeral. Ranting cryB

So sad Blue And even made worse by the fact that those nutjobs from a so-called "church" can't let these children's families grieve and have the funerals without causing a commotion.
