Extras on Season 1 DVDs

I don't know if all the season one DVDs are the same, but the ones I watched had a LHOTP quiz on the last DVD in the set. But a couple of the questions did not actually seem to have the right answer as a choice. One of the questions was why didn't Laura write down her presentation to the class (in COUNTRY GIRLS)? Now in my mind the answer is "because she did not know how to write the words she wanted to use." But there was no choice like that. The so-called correct answer was something about her not having paper to write on. Then for SURVIVAL, one of the questions was who helped the Ingalls find the house they stayed in? I don't remember anyone helping them find the house, but the answer was the Indian.

Did anyone else do this quiz and think this was odd?

Also, they had an extra called Character Profiles but it was actually about the actors who played the characters. However, of the Ingalls family, it only included ML and MSG, and then for Matthew Laborteaux it just said "Orphan" for his character and did not ever even say that he played "Albert". I thought all of this was strange, too.

I haven't looked through those early seasons in a while, but I remember wondering if the same person who wrote down the bad synopses of the episodes wrote the quizes.

Don't you wonder why they don't just give a free set of DVDs to some fan if they are willing to write those things? At least they would be right and probably would not give away too much information either.

The show is so popular in France, which is where the main company who produced these things is located, and they have access to their own LHOP expert who wrote a book to go with the Season 9 DVDs, so there's no excuse for how poorly they were produced.
