I would like to share my good news. I work for the USPS. I received a message from my district manager on Monday to call him ASAP, I got so nervous thinking what the heck did I do?! Turned out that he put my name in to be our District Postmaster's secretary and he set up an interview for me yesterday. Now my heart was really pounding and I was just stuttering over the phone.

The interview went well yesterday and I got accepted. So starting 4/16, I'll be leaving my little station as a carrier to work in the Main PO, I'll have my own parking spot in the lot and my own office. I'm so excited but sad to leave all my people on my route, they had been so wonderful to me over the years.

I'm the pathetic one - I've been at my job for almost a month and I'm afraid to go on the internet, except for work purposes! LOL. I guess I have a good excuse though - my boss is in a little office filled of computers, and on each one, he has the activity of the other users (one of which is me), so if I come on here, he'll see me, even if he's not in the room. :sad5: LOL.
