the reason is cause I'm a only child. & all my friends had sisters/brother's. I've noticed that few of them used to really scream & yell at eacher. (seemed like they really hated eacher.) That kind of at the time made me glad not to have a bro or sis. Then at times i wish i did have a older sister.

Do you have any brothers or sister's?

I have a younger brother and an older step brother.
My younger brother and I are only 2 years apart and we get along very well but we have had our fighting moments and mom would get scared because we could get pretty mad at each other and my mom would say to pray because the devil was in the room! Laughing

I'm an only child too, Krissy. When I was little, I used to wish for a brother or sister too.

I would have had an Uncle Rodney myself, but the cord was wrapped around his neck at birth. No Otherwise there was nothing wrong with him.

I have eight older brothers, four (five on Saturday!) sister-in-laws, and fifteen nieces and nephews and one on the way!

I must admit that there were- and sometimes still are- says where I would have gladly given a brother away.

I am the oldest. I have a brother 5 yrs younger . My parents divorced then my Dad remarried and had my sister when I was 11. So we are all spaced apart. As adults we get along fine. When we were little I tortured my brother just to hear him yell. He was so pretty with his auburn curls and big brown eyes...and I had hazel eyes and hair the color of a mouse. So everytime I got a chance I made him squeal. I would also get him up at night to potty so he wouldn't wet the bed (besides I was in the bed with him) and sneak sugar for the wild strawberries we would pick. (Our Grandma would come at him with her houseshoe if she caught him in the sugar....thought our teeth would rot.) I made the school bus driver hold up when he didn't get on after the first day of Kindergarten only to find out my Mom picked him up at noon when he was released. (She could of told me that!)
I beat up a few boys on the street that picked on him...and wondered why later I never got a date. But he was mine and I had first dibs on him.

My sister came along in the middle a big mess between my parents and has proved to be the star in it all. She was my first baby and how I loved her. I was not told she was in this world til she was 8 months old and didnt see her til she was 10 month. I think because we weren't raised together we have made our bond strong. I'm am the first one she calls when she has good or bad news and all in between. God totally knew how to make a rough adult situation better....bring on a baby!
Siblings are sweet, but it doesn't take having them to have that kind of relationship. You can be just as close with a special friend. I've found a few of those here...... Smiley Hug

Same here. I could be really upset at my brother, but when I saw some kids picking on him at school... all that anger went out the door and I was there to defend him. cat fight
