Okay, I have always seemed to have a wide foot.. which makes me have to buy larger shoes than I need but I need it so my foot sides will fit. So I normally wear a size 9 shoe. Well, I have been shoe shopping in the past few months and I am back to a size 7! I wore 7 when I was 12 years old. My feet don't seem as wide.
Wide feet runs in the family. My Mom has it and her Mother maaaaay have had wide feet too. Is it normal that my feet have suddenly shrunk!?

Your anorexia may have played a part.

I don't think it's anything to worry about, sweetie. Feet can "change in size" depending on what time of day it is, what activities you've been doing, etc. - and for ladies, it can even be impacted by the time of the month. And it can also largely depend on the style of shoe you're trying on. Dress shoes will sometimes tend to run smaller than boots or athletic shoes. But the biggest thing (and I'm guessing that this is what the deal is), is that shoes vary in size from company to company just like skirts and pants do. For instance, I have a size 2 skirt that I wear quite often - but if I tried to squeeze into a size 2 from another company, I'd look like a stuffed sausage and wouldn't be able to walk or breathe. I wore a size 6 from Lee, and it fit just fine - but when I tried a 6 from Eddy Bauer, it was huge on me. So I'd guess that it has more to do with the shoes and differing standards from company to company than it does your feet. I really don't think it's anything to stress about.

There's a joke in there somewhere.

It is very frustrating with all these companies and clothing items. I've noticed my section considers what used to be a small a large or even X-large....which really can effect people...I'm talking from experiance.
Yikes
I know everything can for sure be impacted by that time of the month. I feel so fat then! It's bad because it even may show. But I don't mind this whole feet thing-I just wanted to make sure it was ok! LOL! I like the way my feet are looking more narrow and longer instead of wide and bulky. I just want to be taller. I've stunted my growth so I am praying that I will grow to the correct height I need to be.

I agree; different types of shoes fit differently on me, too. I range from a 5-7 1/2 size in footwear.

Well, it's perfectly acceptable for a girl to be on the short side. Sometimes it actually adds to her appeal.

Well, that can trigger that certain person's "protective gene" and make him like you even more.

LOL! I hope...but I just won't act like that's what I want.... laugh3 I have NO idea how to attract a guy. scratchead I have always felt lost on that part. I know things take care of themselves but everyone does have little things to help them along. Maybe you could give me a tip or two?
Keep in mind I can't act like I like him because we got in a big fight over that in October of last year. Also he told me in January he doesn't want to date anyone from church so this has to be subtle. I have to say he seems to have had a major attitude change for the good and even spoke to me today so... HELP! laugh3

Hmm, let's see... you're pretty, funny, personable, nice... I don't think you need to know how to attract a guy. You're already a pretty darned appealing package. And the fact that you don't know the tricks to make a guy like you... that only makes you more appealing. Guys like that vulnerability.

Just be a friend to him, Julia. Many a great romance has started that way.

Night!

It's rather normal. It depends what kind of activities are you doing. Some people could have little oedemas in their feets (nothing dangerous; my granny suffered from feet oedema most of her life), so their regular shoes wouldn't fit them any more...for a while. And you also could have diferent show size...it depends of the shoe! It seems crazy, but it's rather normal. scratchead Huh? greenS

Being short? Normal too. Most of men just loves short women! Tall ones have no too many chances. Just think about Nellie and Percival! Wink

Vanesa.

Just my worthless opinion... batEyes

If someone really likes you, they'll like you for what you are, no matter what you look like on the outside. Remember what you are on the inside is what really matters.

And I'm 5'1" without shoes HeeHee
I was teased for a while when we all started growing up because my boy cousins used to literally look up to me and now the tables are turned lol, but it's okay. Up until 7th grade I was considered tall so when school group pictures were done, I'd have to stand in the back row and I've always wanted to be in the front with the shorter people haha. This guy I also liked had a nickname for me because I was short but it was out of love. Since I was shorter, it was easier for him to pick me up and hug me.

*Savannah the giantess backs slowwwwwwly out of the conversation* No, I'm kidding.....And they're right....Your height is actually quite charming to a lot of guys. But really, it comes down to just learning to be comfortable being you. You don't have to be a taller you, or a shorter you, or thinner or heavier, or any other "er" to be liked for who you are. You're wonderful just the way you are. And your height has nothing to do with that.

Wow! I didn't think I would receive all these replies! thud grinsmiley

Well, I am 5"1 without heels. But I want to be 5"4---5"5. I have been growing a bit. Like the other day I ran into an overhead (lower height) light at Zaxby's that I never had.... ROTFL
I have lost weight without trying. I am about 9 pounds lighter. I think what I want to do is just tone up.

I know people need to take me as I am. The more I try to act like I don't like Arjay, the HE acts and does things that seems like he does! It's like the more I give him up, the more he comes to me.

By the way, I bought a new dress today. Orginally $50.00-----I got it for......*drumroll*
$7.69!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grinsmiley

Here it is. I like it without the sweather but I forgot to take it off for the photo.

Here's one I took.

I know the feeling...I'm barely 5 feet tall, while my husband towers over me at 6. Lovely pictures too, Julia!
