I bought this today and it truly looks like a great read. Mary is the first from the Walton series to write about her experiences as Erin Walton. Hopefully I'll have a review soon.

I read this book in 4 days! Just loved her story and all she has been through.
I promise not to give too much away, but she begins telling of being on the Waltons of course. She talks about the family atmosphere and the closeness of the cast. She tells a few things about the pilot movie The Homecoming and a few other episodes. Makes me want to watch them now for all the things she hinted about.
She is one that has had alot of self image problems and has had to embrace who she is and be happy with herself.
She talks about her illness in the latter part of the book. (I'll let that be a secret if you don't know already) She has worked to change laws and get more medical testing for women. As shy as she was in real life she truly found her voice with this....
She has worked with a few LH, Happy Days and Brady Bunch cast members.

This was a book I would recommend to ages 12 and up. Its clean and Mary has a wonderful message to tell. Its great to know that she is one child star that came out on top and still has something to offer her fans. READ IT!!

Didn't she appear on General Hospital for a short while? Late 80's early 90's? I always thought she was beautiful.

I'd had this on my wish list on paperbackswap.com (which, despite its name does have hard cover books as well HeeHee  ), and got an email yesterday that the book is being mailed to me. I love that site! I look forward to reading this.
