Where in the World is that Diva Cheryl?

Not that I've been here much lately anyway, but we're headed to DisneyWorld tomorrow and I won't have Internet access while we're gone. Larry and Rob, try to behave yourselves. The rest of you stay safe and have fun.

Oh, that will be sooooooo much fun, Cheryl!! We were just there this past March. This year, we went to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Last year, we went to the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Where will you guys be going? I love, love, love the Magic Kingdom!! It never gets old for me.

Have a great time and I can't wait to hear about it!! My one piece of advice is to use the fast pass on all of the rides that accept them. It's key!! My favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom is Pirates of the Caribbean. The pirates all look so real, and Johnny Depp is amazing. It's like he's human. They all look that way.

Hello all,

Thanks for the good wishes. We needed them around here. Tornadoes blew in the night before we took off for Florida. We had no power for 2 days. Thankfully, our immediate area was spared, but on the main street that our side street connects to, other areas of town, and many other neighbooring communities, the destruction has been horrible. Driving home from the airport today I was amazed at how they ripped apart whole neighborhoods. The clean up will take months.

That gloominess aside, we had a lovely, Internet free vacation. I left my laptop at home. We stayed at the Coronado Springs Resort, which is where we stayed the last time we were there.

We made multiple visits to the Magic Kingdom, but we also visited Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom. We ended up skipping the water parks because it was almost $200 for all four of us for the day and I don't even swim. The girls got several autographs, and we survived despite the horrible heat.

Now it's back to work. Glad to see you all again.

Sad to hear about the tornados Cheryl; glad you had a great trip though.

Welcome back....Glad you got the time off. I agree about the water parks. Its fun to a point if you like getting violently wet. BUT, the expense makes it hard for us to go too.

Thanks Gin. I got wet enough on Splash Mountain. I'm glad the girls decided to do other things.

I'm happy that you and the girls had had a si great time. Sadly, tornadoes are not to mess with... Hope things are returning to normality.
