I was just wondering if anyone tuned into the Grammys tonight. I watched most of the show, and I have to say, I was quite surprised to see the Dixie Chicks sweep the show with 4 wins. I wasn't expecting them to get Country Album of the Year (nor did I want them too, LOL), and they got Album of the Year also, as well as 2 others that I can't remember at the moment. Other big winners that I can remember are Mary J. Blige and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Does anyone have any if you watched the show?

I also like the Dixie Chicks.. I think they have a very unique sound! I'm also glad that Mary J. Blige and the Red Hot Chili Peppers won awards! I love all types of music!

Me too. I was disappointed that the Red Hot Chili Peppers didn't get album of the year though - I thought their 2 CD set was awesome! Oh well, I guess there's always next year :)

One of the dudes in the Chili Peppers must have been really mad that the Dixie Chicks won because he said the Grammys were trying to send a message. What kind of message I have no idea, lol. But I was dissappointed that they won all those awards too because I don't like Country all that much. I am just glad that John Legend won a Grammy. Mary J. had a beautiful performance. As for Christina Augulera, what the heck was she doing in her performnce, lol.

Your guess is as good as mine, LOL. I watched in amazement - of never seeing anything so weird before. I'm not sure what she was trying to do exactly but it was actually kind of funny, LOL. :tapdance:

Definitely! LOL, I didn't really care for it - maybe b/c of how she sang it - I like "Hurt" better, I wish she did that instead.
