PostSubject: Opie Makes His Mark   Sat Aug 27, 2011 11:55 am

Some of you know that for quite a while now I've been working on my porch - scraping, priming and painting it inside and out. I finally got to the last part of the project - painting the cement floor. (It's being painted a dark chocolate brown. *dreamy sigh* I love the color!) Anyway....I barricaded the doorway so no kitties could get out there, and turned a fan on so that it would dry more quickly. I went down just a few minutes ago to put the fan away and get the tools, etc. put away, and when I got down there, I started to laugh because THIS is what I saw on the floor:

I rolled fresh paint over the paw prints, and STOOD GUARD this time, so it dried without any feline inspections being done.

Oh, and Opie wants me to let you all know that he hires out as a paint inspector - so if any of you are in need of paw prints all over your freshly painted surfaces his services, just lemme know.

Edited for fifeability.

Are you sure it was Opie? Maybe your brother came over and stepped over the barricade.

I'll ask him about that, Rob. He's a very honest man - he'll fess up if he did it.

Rhonda...
Maybe I should get him a paint set for Christmas.

Alex, I almost did leave the paw prints. They looked so cute!

Rob & Rhonda, you're right - I shouldn't keep his talent in the clawset.
I think I'll get him some paints & paper for Christmas, and put his mewsterpieces on eBay.

Aw, thank you, Vanesa!

Poor Opie, always blamed for everything. I know it was that mean dog using his cat paw print stamp again. Don't worry, Opie, I have your back.

laugh3 Aw I love Opie! Too cute! My Pepper sounds like he and Opie could be friends; they both like to cause mischief because they know they are too cute to get in trouble! Smile
