My Uncle

Prayers for my Uncle Butch would be appreciated. He has been fighting cancer for a couple of years now, and recently was told that his treatments are no longer working, and he only has 6-12 months left to live. Uncle Butch is a great person- he is always in a good mood and he is always willing to lend a hand and help out. I just saw him today for Easter dinner, and right now it is hard to tell that he is even sick, because he was in a great mood and he always tries to see the best in every situation. But I know that he is still very sick. I do not mean to complain, but it seems very unfair that this is happening to him. In the past year three of my family members have fought cancer. Last year my Uncle Gerry was very sick but is now in remission, and earlier this year my Great Aunt Dottie also fought cancer but sadly lost her fight.

I ask for prayers for my Uncle Butch in hope that these next months are as happy and comfortable for him as possible.

Please get him to start drinking Noni Juice. It helped me a LOT! It can be found at most health food stores, or you can get it online at Walgreens.com.............Best of luck to him!

Its so hard to know someone you love is so very sick. Make the most of every day you have with him. In the meantime, as long as there is time, something might turn around. Prayers for healing can always be said, and his comfort and peace for sure. Much love to you and your family.

I will keep you all updated on how Uncle Butch is doing. Every three weeks he returns to the hospital for more treatments, and this is the week that he will receive them.

Just a few weeks ago I saw my Uncle at Easter , and he seemed to be doing great. He was in great spirits and you wouldn't have known that he was even sick unless someone told you. Just today, my dad said that Uncle Butch has become a lot sicker since Easter. He is having trouble eating now, and the type of chemo he was receiving during his last treatment had to be stopped since it was making him so sick. His doctors think he only has a few more weeks. It makes me so sad because Uncle Butch is an amazing person. My cousin Adam, who is my age, quit his job so he can help take care of his dad.

Continued prayers for Uncle Butch would be very much appreciated, with hope that he will be as comfortable as possible in these next weeks.

Wow, your uncle is so blessed to have a son so dedicated to caring for him in his time of need.  I hope he doesn't suffer long.  I'm so sorry your family is going through this.  I'll be praying for him.

Uncle Butch passed away early this morning. This weekend is going to be a memorial service for him. Right now I am trying to remind myself that he is no longer in any pain and is not suffering any more.
