I voted for McDonald's. Then they are hot and fresh and have just the right amount of salt, they are just perfect.

Though I'd say homemade is a close tie for first. But the convenience of McDonald's fries makes them the winner with me.

I might be in a minority here, but I have to throw my vote to Wendy's. I love their fries. The only thing is that the closest Wendy's to me is 70 miles away!
But for in town here, McDonald's is my choice of fries. Then there's Culver's.

Yeah, if you eat 'em right out of the deep fryer. If you try to take 'em home first, they're cold by the time you get there.

The best fast-food french fries, IMO, are from Rally's/Checker's (depending on where you live. It's the same restaurant with a different name). Their seasoned fries rock.

I dunno if they have them in your neck of the woods though Lily. They're mostly through the midwest that I know of.

I chose a local place... there are no place that makes better fries than our local pizza place.. YUM YUM YUM... McDonald´s are very good too but since I don´t eat McDonalds food anymore I didn´t choose them

I love Kennywood fries too. I voted Arbys but McDonald`s and Wendy`s are great too. So are the steak fries but I`ll eat any fries grinsmiley
