Health Update, Sept

The paperwork that my dr gave to me to take to the scan says that the ultrasound done in Sept found a left 2.3cm mass. My dr mentioned at my last scheduled appt in Oct that i will most likely have to have a hysterectomy sometime in the future. It will be 4 years exacltly on March 9 that I have been dealing with these pains. If surgery is offerred, I'm pretty sure that I'd consider it, so that these pains will stop.

Ultrasound appt has been booked for Jan 18.
Went to bed early last night with heating pad, music and morphine. Am headed down the same path to bed shortly. Today was a diffult, painful day, soooo glad that tomorrow is Friday.

Sorry to hear you've had a hard day with pain. Hope you can get some answers as to when surgery might be. I think that might have to be the answer too. Sorry its coming to that, but you've had enough pain for 5 people. Rest up....

When it comes to this degree of pain, surgery is the best solution to stop it, Marylin. It's sad you must undergo surgery, but it's the best think you could do.

Hope you could get rid of this awful health trouble...

I had a better day today. Was doing paperwork over the past few days at work so I got to sit and rest. Usually I'm on my feet all the time, so I got lucky. Then after work I went to the mall. I had to walk slowly but I got all of the stuff done that I needed. Came home and had a rest, pain is ok, better than over the past few days. Thanks for the prayers.

I'm happy to hear you are better, Marylin. I'll keep praying for your health could improve more and more every day.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. I'm hanging in there. I only work from 6-11am but after that I come home really tired and have to rest after lunch. The side is still sore but not as bad as it has been in with other cysts I've had in the past. I'm looking forward to Jan 18 for the ultrasound to see how big it is this time.

I was very tired this morning. Got up at 9, had breakfast and then went back to bed til 1pm. This is not me!! I never sleep in that late. It is concerning to me. I know that I haven't slept well over the past few weeks so I am just hoping that I was just catching up. The side is doing ok. Thanks for the prayers.

I'm sure your body was just catching up, Marilyn. I think we all do that. We'll keep praying!

I agree with Rob, Marilyn - it sounds like that's exactly what your body needed. I'm glad that you were able to get some extra sleep! Sometimes that makes a huge difference.

Yes, Marylin. If your body ASKS for rest, just give it some. We, human beings, are not robots and need to rest correctly.

You were diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and this is painful...and you must add some amount of stress to it. We can't avoid it when we are close to have surgery. Stress is tiresome, and when we are tired we need some good hours of a comfortable BED.
