Hey, Alex and/or Ruth. It shows a lot of seasonal snow in New Zealand. I didn't realize they got that much. Lots of mountains?

That's really fascinating. It's interesting to see the places that are never completely snow-free. Some of the areas I wouldn't have expected.

AFAIK yes they get plenty of snow and it is very mountainous and pretty.(Drawing on my geography knowledge(And dad's experience there), I haven't been there myself; I'd love to...for the trout fishing batEyes )

Yes. There are areas in which snow is always around. Mountain areas are special for that. We are in South Hemisphere, so, December is Summertime, but at south of the country, close to the poles, in mountain areas, sometimes it could SNOW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER!!! thud So, in those areas is not so rare to have a white Christmas like at the United States or Europe. scratchead

Vanesa.

Yes. Not so off. TJis part of my country is close to the South Pole so it could be pretty cold even in Summer and much more in the middle of the mountains.
