Well, they've made noise about this before. It raises a lot of questions. The most important one is where would we put the extra star on the flag?

When I still lived in California, they were talking about making a North California and a South California, cutting the state in the middle.....That was said over 20 years ago....so, I doubt it happens.....If they do, we'd have 52 States and would have a pack of playing cards....try playing 52 pick-up with that......

Amy, yes it is. I'm imagine, I'm in that chair spinning the wheel of spun. Greenfield is one of my favorite historical museums go to.

It wouldn't bother me if it happened. But, I agree with most here who said it isn't likely to happen.

I went on a field trip with my preschool class to the fire station yesterday and this subject was brought up after one of the mom's mentioned she grew up in the U.P. She joked that it didn't seem likely since there isn't enough population.

I also love Greenfield Village. It is my favorite, with Crossroads Village a close second. The train at Crossroads (Huckleberry Railroad) really makes you feel like you have taken a trip back in time. Love it.
