"When my husband left on his deployment, our 6-year-old son could not walk on his own. He has cerebral palsy. Doctors originally said that he would never walk or do much of anything. While daddy was away, he learned to walk. For his homecoming, we set it up for Michael to walk to his daddy for the first time ever! We kept the fact that he could walk a secret the whole time his dad was gone!"

I just watched that on the yahoo news a little while ago....and the other 'welcome homes' too. These seriously do me in!! But they are SO heart-warming! This one was one of the very best ever.

I just saw this on yahoo. I was gonna post this.
Bravo for the boy walking. You can see the dad is proud of his youngest son, walking the first time. I love reading about people who has cerebral palsy. Since, I have mild cerebral palsy. Makes me happy to see other people with CP or MCP. Learning how to walk, talk, or other skills.
I'm sure, his mom, older siblings & his PT, help him, learn how to walk.
