| A 36 year veteran of the Springfield, MA police force was killed in the line of duty today. I'm still in shock and so are many others. They haven't lost an officer since 1985. I didn't know this officer well, but he was a customer of mine when I worked at a credit union frequented by city employees. He leaves behind a wife, son, daughter, and one granddaughter. | So sorry to hear of this. I know how quickly things can happen. My Dad was a cop for 23 yrs and had several close calls.
