Blue   It is with heavy heart, that I must tell our prairie family, that we lost a dear friend.   Many of you will remember Larry, who went by the username "Flatbroke."  He was a member of this forum since 2005 and a wonderful addtion.   I'm sorry to say that Larry passed away last evening.  He'd been in poor health for many years, and when he was stricken with a severe stomach infection, it was more than his body could handle.

You were a sweet, kind, funny, gentle man, Larry. Even though you sometimes went a long time between posts, you never stopped being one of us. We will miss you more than we can say.

Please keep his family in your prayers.

Oh my goodness. I knew Larry was ill, but I didn't know he was that sick. This breaks my heart.

May you rest in peace, my friend.

So long, ol' buddy. I'll miss your sense of humor, your midwestern common sense, and your heart, which was as big as all outdoors.

I feel odd saying these things next to this avatar, but something tells me you would approve.

I will miss you forever, Larry. Thanks for always knowing when to make me laugh, or when it was just best to listen and let me rant! There is no other like you.

RIP Larry E. Bradford Jr.

He'll be miss.

I saw his profile. I like the smiley face, he left on his profile. The smiley doing a little dance, the white glove hands moving back & forth.

You were one of a kind, Larry. You could cheer up anyone who were down, gave advice when anyone needed it. Stood up for the weak and defenseless ones. Your random posts always made me laugh out loud. Though you looked like a grizzly bear but deep down you were a teddy bear with a heart of gold. I had always proudly announced that I have a redneck friend named Larry. I will miss your sense of humor and mostly, just you. You will always have a special place in my heart! RIP Larry Bradford! loveheart

*Larry and I also met on PT back in 2005. He signed up just few minutes before I did. Ranting Although he was only a few months younger than me but I always call him an old fart! HeeHee
