I wanted to be a black cat (I figured that would be easy, I have black pants and a blouse, all I'd need were ears and a tail!) LOL, but that would probably involve some face painting too. [/b][/color]

Talking about cats... this woman named Jocelyn Wildenstein is famous for her plastic surgeries... the woman is known as the 'cat woman' because of how her face looks  I don't think she has to do too much for Halloween lol

That's such a sad story. Blue I remember seeing a news story about her, and she felt so unattractive that she kept having more and more surgery. The thing was........she was nice looking to begin with. The doctors should have refused after a certain amount of surgery. Now she looks like they've damaged her facial structure!

That makes you wonder if people that have numerous surgeries like that have some kind of depression, or something like that, that makes them completely unhappy with their looks. How sad, if that's the case. Blue

PostSubject: Halloween plans (for those that do!)   Sun Oct 19, 2008 1:55 am

We have a yearly "trunk of treat" where the businesses set up downtown and pass out candy and have some booths set up. We help out with that since the fire department has their table.

Afterwards we will probably take Shiloh around to a few places in town.

He wants to be a stormtrooper this year (from Star Wars) and I'm probably going to get a 50's costume and put my hair in ponytails.

What about y'all? grinsmiley

ROTFL LOL Susie. One of my friends is having a costume party, but I'm not sure if I want to go...or if I do go, what I want to be. And I'm running out of time, so I better start looking soon!

This is the first year we won't be taking at least ONE kid trick-or-treating!! Nick is 13 and he thinks he's too old. Pfft. It's good clean fun and there are plenty of teens in our neighborhood who go!! I'm bummed---it's tradition for us, walking through the streets, crunching through the leaves. We do go to my sister's house every Halloween though, after trick-or-treating for food and fun with all the family. Oh, and it's Brendan's first year at college---they have trick-or-treating at the dorms, where people can bring their kids to trick-or-treat to all the students! I thought that sounded like fun. Brendan's not sure if he wants to spend the money on candy though, just to give it away! grinsmiley

Wow, that sounds cool! I thought you meant the students went trick-or-treating, lol. That would be a cool idea thought too.

I have the day off, and I really just enjoy watching the kids in the neighborhood and seeing their costumes. We don't get many Trick-Or-Treaters, but I love watching the kids have a good time.
