My favorite is Ma. Love her!

Next favorite is Harriet, then Laura, Pa, Mary, Doc Baker, Nels, Mr. Edwards, Willie, Almanzo, Adam, Miss Beadle, Eliza Jane (up through the episode LIW).

The only characters I really disliked are:

KEZIA!!! Ranting
Jason Carter banghead
Eliza Jane in A Wiser Heart and DOSDOS
Montague (sp?)
Matthew the Wild Boy

I kind of liked Eliza Jane sometimes. I felt bad for her. I didn't like Kezia either she was a nut job

Johnathan Garvey was pretty cool

Adam Kendall never grew on me. I always thought he looked like a vampire LOL Huh?

I didn't really like any of the Carter's. They ruined the show imo

I liked Eliza Jane a lot and felt really bad for her at times as well (especially in LIW). But I she was so mean to Laura in A Wiser Heart and so disrespectful to Laura in Days of Sunshine, Days of Shadow. But I still really like the character of Eliza Jane and Lucy Lee Flippin was flippin amazing in the role!!

Whell...at least in "A Wisdom Heart" and "Days of Sunshine; days of shadow" they made Eliza Jane similar to her character in the books . In real life she didn't like Laura a bit and Laura never liked her sister- in -law. scratchead

Vanesa.

Normally differences between the show and the books don't bug me that much, but the fact that she liked Eliza Jane really bothered me.

Yes; I think the same than you. Generally I didn't care if they make some changes, but that one was too much for me. Laura DISLIKED Eliza a great deal and it was not fair they make Laura and Eliza Jane as if they were good friends. Other thing that bothered me is that they made Mrs. Wilder exactly the opposite of the kind of woman she really was.She was a real pionneer, and they portrayed them as a woman who was afraid of almost everything, who couldn't live if her brother wasn't around and he was somewhat too candid. Nothing to do with her REAL character. And she was a real beauty.

Vanesa. Smile

my absolute favorite is Alice, I think she was a great add on to the show. Her character had spunk and Hersha played the role so well. She wasn't around long enough though. I can't watch May We make Them Proud bawling cryB I wish if anything that she had just left town and they had not killed her off.

I also like Charles, Caroline, Mary, Laura and the Olsens.

Then I like Pa, Ma, Dr Baker, the Reverend, Mary.

Laura is my favorite too.... particularly young Laura from the first seasons. Laughing I bet you could have guessed that from my username!

I'm also fond of Albert - saw Look Back To Yesterday last night and his final morphine-addiction episode airs on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. EDIT: No it doesn't, the TV channel is skipping those.

I haven't been watching in order - season 9 is currently airing and I've found them a bit hit and miss. I've also been viewing bits and pieces on You Tube, but i know that the channel will start again from the pilot and season 1 and I'll be able to watch sequentially and DVR everything.

Well so far i guess my favorite character is Mary. But i have only seen season 1 and fourteen episodes in season 2.

Of course i did watch most of the episodes back in the 90s but i don`t really remember them. So it does feel like i am watching it for the first time. As it is almost 20 years since the last time i actually watched this show.

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.
