So, turns out there is this dairy in my town that has started home milk deliveries like how it was done back in the old days. Thumbsup

Check it out :)

Oh, that's really cool! We had a milkman when I was little. He'd knock on the door and call out, "It's Barnacle Bill the Sailor!" My sister and I thought the world of him.

I wish we had this available too! We used to joke about keeping cows in our backyard back when Brendan was home, because he drank so much milk! Laughing And, a similar thing we have thought about it getting our beef from a local farmer (raising grass fed steer) rather than the store. There is a farm in Bill's hometown, not so far away, that will sell a quarter side of beef....a lot of money up front, but would probably make sense! But we'd need a big freezer. His sister is going to do this and let us know what she thinks of it...maybe we should just go in on it with her. Here is the link....I'm sure there are a lot of farms doing this now:

Hmm, I see they have coffee, too...might have to check that out!

Milkmen were big in the early 1900's!

That's very cool! We have a local dairy here that has a shop in town where you can buy all the farm fresh items but it would be so cool if they delivered.
