Friend hit by a car

Please pray for a dear friend of mine, my chiropractor Dr Greg. He was visiting Michigan over the weekend and was hit by a car as he crossed the street. He is in an ICU ward and I am very frightened for him. I saw his father today and he didn't offer up very much information, I think he was slightly in shock.
Please pray for Greg. I affectionately call him my "Miracle Man" and now he needs a miracle.

Oh my gosh Marilyn! This happened right by me....I just read about it in the news over the weekend! I'd read he is from Ontario but would never have dreamed you knew him! What a very small world. Dr. Greg is in my prayers. I am so sorry this happened.

Greg is amazing, my Miracle Man because he knows where I hurt and he hits the spot every time. His office is right beside my coffee shop and I take him his coffee so he doesn't have to come and get it. My boss and I both call him "the boyfriend" because he is so handsome.

How is Greg doing?

I hope Marilyn doesn't mind if I answer this....

I can't find anything new on him (this happened in my area). No new updates in the news. I know that he suffered a head injury and some broken bones, and I know that Marilyn sent a message to his wife and she responded that 'good things are happening'. So that is a relief.

I sent Patty, his wife, a message asking her to let me know if there was anything I could do for her and she told me that she want me to go and visit him when he gets back to Toronto. She is hoping that it will be soon but she doesn't know when.
I sent Amy a card and she has agreed to take it to him for me and let him know that we are friends via Laura. He knows that I am a big fan and go on Laura treks almost every summer. So, when she walk in and tells him that we know each other because of Laura, he will be very surprized.

Praying for your friend, Dr. Greg. That's horrible accident. :(

I got a message from Dr. Greg's wife. He is being transported to a Toronto hospital tomorrow morning. He still has a long road ahead of him but he is on the mend. Thanks everyone for your continued prayers for my dear friend. God is good.

These are good news Marylin! I'll keep praying, but your "Miracle Man" will be well in no time. I mean, before you could think.

I am happy for him, just sorry I didn't end up getting the card in time and delivering it to him for you! His family must be SO relieved to have him closer to home now! Keep us posted, Marilyn....I pray his recovery goes quickly and smoothly.

His wife Patty can now go home each night and be with their twin daughters, age 5. I'm sure that they will be excited to go and visit him as soon as he is well enough. The last time they saw their daddy was on halloween night as he took them around the neighborhood.
I hope to go and visit him as well, when the time is right and I can get myself downtown. I'm not sure when that will be but when I do go, I'll give you an update.

Do you know anything more about how he is progressing physically? How is his head injury? I've been most concerned about that.

I'll be also praying for his two daughters...How a sad thing for them to have their father in a hospital! And yes, please: keep us updated.
