I like Barack Obama but I think he's too young to win.

I think that America could very easily elect a woman (or a black or a Mormon). It seems like the media try to make it seem like a bigger obstacle than it really is. A candidate's sex or race just doesn't seem like that big a deal anymore.

Having said that, I'm for Mitt Romney. Thumbsup

I agree. I don't think that it's so much the person's gender/race, etc - it's the *person*. I'd have voted in a heartbeat for Colin Powell, had he chosen to run for President. But I won't vote for Obama. And there are women for whom I'd vote. But not Hilary Clinton.

I still haven't completely decided yet. Except for a couple of "No way would I vote for them." people. grinsmiley I've narrowed it down to a few good men. But I have to do a little more research before I can decide for sure.

And Rob! Did you contact Mitt Romney's campaign and have them send me a packet of information?? :sillySmiley: (I'm kidding, of course! lol)
It was so funny, though. This afternoon when I brought in the mail - there it was: a big packet of information from Mr. Romney's campaign. Interesingly, it's the first political mail I've gotten yet.

Ron Paul for me. I can't say I agree with him on every issue, but he's the one who comes closest to my overall outlook on the issues, and I admire his willingness to stand by his principles and go against the leadership of his party.

Barack Obama is my choice at this time. While I'm not against a woman being president (am, in fact, very FOR it), I'm just against HILARY being president. She seems to be more for what Hilary needs than for what the country needs. She moves to New York as an official residence while her husband is still in office because that's where she had the best chance of getting elected, and she had to fulfill their residency requirements. She refuses to talk about anything that happened during her husband's presidency like it's nobody's business, when the fact that she's running for president MAKES it everybody's business.
It's just my opinion that she's in it more for ego than ethics.
Actually, I've always been Republican, but they haven't fielded anybody that I'm impressed with yet. Rudy's looking good, but I just haven't seen anything yet.

Maybe I will run. Does the White House have satellite or cable? I prefer cable. And I want the Deluxe package, not that basic cable crap.
And, does the president get to surf the web? If he does, I bet his connection doesn't get interrupted, cuz his ISP would worry about getting the IRS sic'ed on them. I bet he's got the best software package on the planet too. Yep, it's good to be king.Cool

I have the same views Larry has about Hilary for president. I don't like her and for sure don't like Bill! I do believe a woman can run our country. I just don't want it to be Hilary.
