02/02/13

Some Hollywood history is for sale this weekend in Pensacola.

Props used on the TV series "Little House on the Prairie" are being sold as part of an estate sale.

The show was set in the 1800 so the kitchen utensils, jewelry, and other items have the look of antiques.

The sale also includes books about the show, autographed photos, and original scripts.
Robert Garth/Owner, Garth's Auction: TC "They were hard core fans who would go out west to California TC2 and visited the set and these are things they bought directly from the prop store."

The sale is going on tomorrow and Sunday at 2930 West Jackson Street in Pensacola.

"I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time."

I had a dream last night I was going to California. Not sure why, but maybe I need to go find some LH props somewhere.
It would be so nice to just SEE them!

I wish it were open to anyone online. Many years ago a soap, General Hospital did something like that, with props from shows. I got a great bomber jacket for my husband with fake blood on it (that washed off) that a then new actor wore, but later he became more popular.
It was for a charity and a great idea.
