My Facebook friends already know him, but to everyone else... this is Marty, a stray that's been hanging around my house for the past week or so. Can't say for certain, but there's a good chance that this will become his permanent home.

He's so beautiful! And I hope that he stays around for a long, long time. He certainly couldn't find a more loving home! He looks like he's about 9 months to a year old - he still has some of that kitten-look to him. Such a cutie-pie!!

Hello Marty!!! You have got to stay around there with Rob! You are such a cute kitty and you will be getting a wonderful home <3

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

At least he's able to lay down a little more comfortably than the cat in your avatar. Ha!

I told Rob that he might want to explain his avatar to Marty.

He may be worried that HE could end up that way!! Yes, reassure him that, that was NOT your previous cat.

I've always had dogs, but I think the time has come for something a little more low-maintenance.

Yeah,I'm the same been around dogs mostly growing up. Cats are easy to take care of.

Rhonda!

I've had both dogs and cats, and cats are a lot easier to take care of when it comes to exercise. They just tear through the house like little maniacs. Dogs really need to go outdoors and have nice long walks, and run and play outdoors, too. Cats generally couldn't care less about that unless they're particularly fond of chasing squirrels and birds. And the fact that they pretty much litter train themselves is a big help...I do still love dogs, but cats really are easier to care for.
