I'm leaving this sea of intellectual abundance for Cabo Saturday morning, for two weeks of fishing and snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez. Please try and keep the guy below in line if you can!
It's a dirty job, but must be done. Wish you all well!

Returned yesterday! had a great time....Was able to peak in the forum while in La Paz......
This is a sixty pound Dorado I caught off the coast of La Paz.......Had a blast! Glad to be back!

It took thirty minutes to get it in. Victor, the guy on the right gaffed it finally and hauled it in......they fight until the end......
They are blue and gold.......in the water they look like a bar of gold swimming around......beautiful fish! They are in the Mahi Mahi family....great eating!

Welcome home, Dave!! You've been missed! I'm glad that you had a good time. And what a CATCH!!

On a side note - Mom will be going "home" from the hospital today! She was expected to have been released a few times before but there were complications. So she's on her way to rehab in our hometown. Love

Mahi Mahi is about the only fish I enjoy eating! Sometimes I like salmon too.

Wanted to share this amazing place with you all. This is the Island of Los Isoletes in the Sea of Cortez. Has been studied by scientists from all over the world including the Global Explorer. Hundreds of seals occupy the island. We circled it twice before sailing further up the coast. A truly beautiful place.
