Joe Conley, best known for his role as Ike Godsey on The Waltons has passed away. He was 85. RIP

I heard this on facebook. He was such a memorable charactor on the Waltons. Prayers to his family. He has such a great legacy.

I'm sorry to hear this. The Waltons is one of my all-time favorite shows, and I very much enjoyed Joe Conley's portrayal of Ike Godsey.

I loved "Ike" like I did Mr. Oleson...both characters that added a lot to the show even if not in every episode. I'm sure he did other things but he'll always be "Mr. Godsey" to me.
