Laughing I did. And Mom told me again today (when I showed that to her) that she would have named me Savannah when I was born if she'd heard the name soon enough.

1971 up to about '75 I think it was Jennifer. Tell me how I ended up Ginger?

I believe the Madison part. I just didn't know so many girls were going to be named that when we named our son Madison Luke.

Is Ginger your actual name, Gin, or did it come from "Virginia"?

Ha, yeah, lots of Jennifers in the early '70s.  Blame it on "Love Story."  And "Madison" came from the movie "Splash," didn't it?  That was the name of Darryl Hannah's mermaid.

Yes you are precious and rare Rhonda. We wouldn't change a thing about you. :)

Gin is short for Ginger. No Virginia here. I get called "G" alot too.

I remember watching splash, but never thought it was a cool name then. I only know men and my ring bearer in my wedding was named Madison.

I saw this on facebook! Lisa sure was popular!

I'm kind of shocked that Amy didn't make the list. I can't tell you how many Amy's I went to school with!Yikes

Why isn't there a list with boy's names?

Melissa was famous in the 80's. My mom thought, it was rare name. Then, we heard other girls name Melissa.
