Unfortunately, not the lottery. But, next best thing! I saw several hardcover books on LIW on eBay recently, that I'd never seen before. They are a series entitled "Writings From Laura Ingalls Wilder to Young Women". I tried to post the image of the cover, but they are image protected so I can't get them. But anyway, I contacted the seller, b/c shipping for each individual book was $5 and I asked if she would combine shipping if I won all 3, and the next day she said that she would. Unfortunately, somebody else had outbid on the first in the series. She then told me that she happened to have another copy and would sell it to me to complete the set. I just paid yesterday, and I really can't wait to receive these in the mail! :woohooo:

I need to check out ebay more often.....when you get them take pictures of them so we can see what were all missing. Hope you get them soon.

It's very nervewracking because people sure do like to bid over there. I hate being outbid on something I really like. But you should check it out, you can also buy stuff over there without bidding.

I'm sad that they have still not arrived :( LOL, I thought I would be able to start reading them this weekend, but hopefully next week. I will try to take pictures of them and get them posted here - if I remember, I'll bring them up to school and scan them (b/c they have a scanner there).

I posted this in the other thread too (about your new winnings), but I haven't received something I won in almost a month. I know I can mark it as "Item not sent" or something on eBay, but I am worried that the seller will see it and leave me bad feedback - despite the fact that I have done nothing wrong, I sent the payment and emailed him/her three times asking if they'd received it, and they only answered once with a "no, thanks". I don't want to put a stop on the money order, b/c it costs $12 extra dollars, but of course if the seller were to respond and say they hadn't gotten it, I would do so and send another. They just won't communicate with me!

Christina... I think there is a way to report it to Ebay and then they contact the seller directly...

Yes, I'd send the seller another e-mail, asking them to contact you. If they still don't reply, I'd contact ebay. I've had to do that a couple of times. Does the person have good feedback?
