I learned after watching the Passion of the Christ in the theater that I need to watch these movies in the comfort of my own home. I was an emotional wreck in the theater after watching that one and was practically sobbing, right there in the theater! I do want to see this, but I'll wait for the dvd.
I don't like how 'Hollywood handsome' Diogo is....the ultra white teeth?
Hmm, somehow not how I 'picture' Jesus in my mind back then.
But I'm sure he did a great job of acting in it. Honestly I don't think I'll ever see another Jesus as good as the actor in Jesus of Nazarath, which I own and will always be my favorite movie/mini series portraying His life. I own "Jesus" too, which was very good, and of course Jim Caviezel was great in Passion of the Christ.
On "Rotten Tomatoes", 24% of critics like this and 82% of audiences. That is quite the wide spectrum! I don't get it.
But I guess it's not 'meant' to be like the critically acclaimed Passion of the Christ.
