This happened last night at a high school championship softball game in Texas. The team at bat was trailing 6-4 with two outs in the final inning. The team in the field thought they had a game ending force-out on the runner at second base, triggering a celebration. However, the umpire had called her safe, and three runs scored to give the other team the win.

WOW! You can see that the runner at second base expected to be called "out" - and then when she realized he'd called her safe she took off! I heard someone in the background yelling, "SHE IS NOT! SAFE!!"

She definitely looked out! Maybe the second baseman didn't have her foot on the bag. Then as the last runner scored, it looked like the girl with the ball could have tagged her out, but the catcher was in the way.
