Thanks to everyone who makes this forum such a pleasant place to visit!
Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is so low key- no stress to perform just right.
People can be themselves.

This really is a pretty special group of people. When I first came here, I was very shy about joining a message board. I lurked for the longest time before I finally joined in......And when I did, I was made to feel completely welcome from the moment I first posted. I'm glad that you're finding the same welcoming feeling, too!

Well, I joined this forum way back in 1998, and I can say that it has always been a wonderful friendly group of people.........granted, we've had some headaches come and go, but all in all, it is a great place to be.......What is it they say, "A great place to hang your hat!"

No, there were lots of others, but off hand, I can't think of any of their names and whether or not they are still here. A lot of them dropped out when we had to switch forum servers so many times.......... No

Oh, that's only the posts from when we switched over to here a couple of years ago! If we counted all of Rhonda's posts from back to 1998, she'd have WAAAAAAY more than what her current count shows! On the last server alone, she had nearly 10,000. But each time we've had to change, the count starts over at 0.

Yes it definitely is a great place to be, to chat or moan, ask advice or for prayers or to just have a bit of fun. It's always the first place - sometimes the only one - I log on to when I get the chance to go on my computer and my life is so much richer for knowing everyone here.

I feel exactly the same way! There are no petty arguments (that I DO find on the other forum I frequent) and as some of you said, no 'in crowd'. It really is a special place to be. I've been here since 2000, and have seen many changes....it has gotten much bigger since the 'old days', and some of us worried that we'd lose the 'tight nit' feel, but what's amazing is that hasn't happened. I think that's because of the fact that it's a very 'down to earth' group of people...no one is looking to start trouble either. Basically, there's no DRAMA. Whistle

..and of course, it helps that we have Larry & Rob to keep things lively! haha
