Think of me AGAIN

I Have some bad news remember a little while back my Onkel and Aunt and there Married Daughter (my Cousin) with two of there Kids were here and my Mom got all under stress and stuff and we had this gathring and i had to Watch a Christmas Movie with my Cousins Kids Well i got some BAD news My Onkel and Aunt the one that were here there other Married Daughter is coming to visit so i will propbally be stuck with all there kids the other cousin left two at home so they would't miss school but now school has ended so they'll probally bring all of there children they have around 6 to 9 kids one of there boys is around my age but the rest are ALL younger we got the Phone call yesterday that they were coming but at least my onkel and Aunt won't be here this time. But Please Think of Me over the weekend i will be watching some kind of Christmas movie and having the Central Air on bawling

lol and having ice cream cause it will be so hot but i will watch christmas movies

PS: I have never met this Cousin of mine or her Children but there family are all the Same Wave

I feel that way sometimes too when certain family members come to visit.

I will think of you and hope that you can endure and that even though you might be in the depths of despair as Anne was at times... that you can survive the weekend. GreenSmile

Farmer Girl they are so weird they ask do you have that movie then if we have it i say yes i go and get it they see from where i get it from and they come look through all our movies and then they choose a Christmas movie i would't mind watching LHOTP but first they ask do you have lots of movie well yes then they start naming movies they have heard of (they don't have TV) then once i get one they go choose a diffrent one cause they now know where they are they are very Wierd

Seriously though... what if you start thinking about games you could play with them instead? Maybe do a treasure hunt in your back yard or something... maybe they'll have fun doing that and forget about any christmas movie... Laughing

Or maybe the christmas movie will be the prize at the end of the treasure hunt.... but just put clues as to each place they have to go to, and make them hard so they can take a while trying to figure it out Laughing

.... tell them that if they don't solve it, they won't be able to see the movie.... GreenSmile

Carol!! I was going to suggest the same thing! Plan some games! Not necessarily board games, because it sounds like you'll have quite a crowd of children. But, there are lots of games you can do with them. If you have a couple of jump ropes around, you could have a "Jump Rope Champion" contest......You can get some squirt bottles, and have a squirt bottle water-battle. GreenSmile

There's "What Time is it Mr. Fox" "Red Light, Green Ligt".......maybe even get stuff together to make some simple crafts. Sock puppets are a huge hit - or paper bag puppets.......And you're vibrant enough of a person that you could make stories very interesting. You could read them some stories - or tell them stories of your own. There are tons of things you can do to keep them busy, and to keep yourself from going ~~crazier~~ crazy. batEyes

And, the entire way home, your cousins will be telling your Aunt and Uncle "Jacob is the best cousin EVER!" Younger cousins almost always look up to their older cousins. (Whether you like it or not. Shifty

) Try to look at it as an adventure. Because with THAT many children around, it's likely to turn into one. haha

Jacob, you poor thing again!!

Like Carol and Savannah said, involve the kids with physical games. When my girls were little, my friends and I would gather all our kids together and create different olympic games. There were 8 children in all, we divided them up in 4 teams (2 per team). We would put down a two by four on the ground and have them to walk on the "balance beam", we would time them and whichever the team was the fastest won.....without stepping off the beam of course. We would line up all the outdoor chairs and folding chairs in two rows and had them crawled under through the legs. We made medals in gold, silver and copper colors as in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Of course, no teams were losers, the last team also received a medal of achievement and that could be in any color you prefer. We had great fun!!

So those are some of the ideas maybe you can try with your cousins. If not, you can always have them to help you clean house. haha

Edit: One more thing...like Savannah said about reading and telling stories to them, you can also tell stories about all the nuts around here. Except me of course. batEyes

Thanks for more ideas Lily i have been thinking taking them to bike or take them for a bike ride or walk or something. I Love those ideas but they are very wierd i'll have to see if they work on them they will probally say when i say one game they'll ask if we have tv but i won't let them inside lol Now Why could't some family from my Moms side come??? they are so much better they are very nice they have lots of funny stories and stuff but my dad's side is so WIERD stiff when they do tell a joke theres nothing funny about it but i'll try to survive i will try to put on my mean side at least for the kids that are as old as me haha

Well we are Expecting my cousin with her Husband and Children today in the eaving if they left today in the morning they should get here around 8 But i'm hoping that they will go to my other aunt and Onkel first

Take them outside and play "Cowboys and Indians".....you can be the Indian and they can be the Cowboys, and you can tie them to a tree and leave them there.....
