It almost made it down into the 30s here, too! It was 41! (The people setting up the fair are thrilled. "Fair Week" is usually the hottest week of the year!)

I have to say, it kind of stinks that we were on vacation in Northern Michigan for two weeks and the highest it got was around 78 degrees (which by the bay feels about 70), and now it's going to be in the upper 80's this weekend! Not once did we have a good 'beach day' up there, and here it was the last week of July and the first week of August! You'd think we'd get some good weather at that time of year! It's been a rather strange summer. And someone just told me that we're going to have an exceptionally hot September and October. Um, no thank you!! :sad5:

Right now, it is 80º.....at 10:00am on an August morning......that is unusually cool for this time of the year.....Normally, it would already be in the mid-90º's and rising quickly......I heard that we are supposed to have this cooler summer, and then, have an early fall come in.......that would be nice, as fall is one of my favorite seasons.......

I LOVE fall too Rhonda...that's why I really want it to be 'normal'!
I also love love love Autumn! It's the month I was born, the weather is perfect, the trees are beautiful, fall clothing is stylish, great driving scenery, fun activities, food tastes better... lol
There is a place near me where they have a lot of different Autumn activities for the entire family. You can go to the apple orchard and pick the apples while you enjoy the fall foliage. You can also taste some of the delicious apple & pumpkin pies freshly made, they also sell caramel covered apples...good times
