Carol's thread tracking gas prices gave me the idea for this one. I can't lay claim to being creative, but I can copy quite well.

It's 102° here right now, and astoundingly humid. I think that all of the flooding down at the fairgrounds may be contributing to the humidity, but I could be wrong.

You got us beat! It's 88 up here right now, down from a high of 96 this afternoon. Very humid, too.

I think I'll mosey on down to the "The Person Above Me" thread in the games section and enjoy that video of the quiet snowfall.

You know, it's really not humid over here today Savannah, so maybe that Fairground flooding IS a factor! :unsure: But it has been like an oven all day...upper 90's all day and still 90 degrees here now. Glad we have central air, that's all I have to say!

102 degrees! It hasn't been that hot here since last year! I think it was around 75 degrees here today, maybe a little warmer. the temperature hasn't gotten too bad yet because we've had so much rain!

It's supposed to get up to 90 here today. I'm not exactly certain how high the temps had gotten yesterday, somewhere in the lower 90's, but it was stifling hot. You could feel it as soon as you stepped out the door. It was very humid here too.

Kelsey and I were supposed to go to Crossroads Village today (in the Flint area), but between a high chance of thunderstorms in the area, and the temperatures, I think we may delay it.

Only supposed to be a high of 83 here today, but the humidity is setting in and it's going to feel hotter, that's for sure. Storms are due to hit too. My son is at Cedar Point today in Ohio and they're predicted to have T-storms too!! Oh NO!! They'll shut the rides down if that happens...I feel so badly for him! Maybe they'll just get rain.

It's supposed to be 86 here, but it's already 80....So I'm not counting on the weatherman's prediction.

Even though the heat was very oppressive yesterday, there was one benefit: It helped my first daylily of the summer to bloom!

Gorgeous!! I have yellow ones; they bloomed about two weeks ago. Unfortunately they're looking a tad wilted from yesterday! :sad5:

It's going to be in the 90's again today, and very humid. Too tropical for me!

It was 101* here yesterday & expected that way all week. Anything that needs to be done, its advised to do it early morning or late afternoon.....around 6 p.m. I'll be mowing tonight.

We are going to be at 95 degrees today but we have a heat wave this weekend! Ugh... 103 on Saturday and 105 of Sunday! The people in the coast like Monterey are enjoying gorgeous weather though! They are in the 70s! It's not fair!!!!!

And can I ask for prayers for my son? He left Sandusky Ohio (Cedar Point)just a few minutes ago, the storm is rolling in now, he said. He thinks they're ahead of it, but who knows. I'm concerned...they're predicting 'severe'T- storms, and you know how kids are....I'm worried they won't pull over. His friend is a good driver, but hopefully he'll know enough to pull over or exit if it gets too bad.

Great pics Savannah! It was gorgeous here today....I had the day off today and we joined up with friends at Greenfield Village in Detroit. It reached 75, sunny and breezy---the perfect day!!

Sorry I didn't check back to this thread last week...thanks all for your prayers for my son's safety. They beat the storm home and all was well.
