We have been having some really bad storms here for about a month on and on. Last Fri was terrible. One storm would move out and another one would move in. We got 5 1/2 inches of rain in a 24 hour period. We had 60-70 mph winds. It took a silo down, trees & power lines snapped like pretzels, flooding, semi rollover,roofs ripped off moble home. A tornado was confirmed 20 miles from us.
Has anyone else been having this kind of crazy weather? When it's not raining... it HOT. We are in for another round of storms like last Fri. today. _________________

Wow Susie, That's crazy. Seems crazy weather is happening everywhere.
Here in california there have been a couple of fires. Not really big ones that made the news last time, but any kind of fire is scary since it has the potential to spread. _________________

The weather really has been crazy! Terrible storms, tornadoes, straight winds, heat waves.......And it seems like it's happening just about everywhere you look!

We've had our share of stormy weather here, but the worst of it has managed to miss us. *knock on wood* But areas around us had sustained a lot of damage and many people have gone all week long without power because of the storms. The crews can't get their work completed before another round of storms roll through! _________________

We had the heat wave from last Friday to this past Tuesday, the air was so thick, it was hard to breath. We did have a storm passing through our area on Monday night, a tree fell in front of my friend's neighbor's house, but thank goodness no damage. Some parts of the area lost power line. It's been pretty nice here....getting hot, even up in the 90's! But, we havn't had to much rain, just enough to save us from having to water the garden!! _________________

We had a heat wave last week. 95 every day and then my son called from Idaho to say it was snowing!

The same kind of deal has been going on here for about the past week - hot and humid one day, and big thunderstorms the next. This week, I think we're it's only supposed to be in the 70s here, as opposed to the 90s we had last week! _________________

I've gotten tons of rain too. I think my area has gotten around fifteen to twenty inches of rain in the last week and a half. The water is *so* high. I've never seen the water this high before. I've driven past two houses with very long lanes that are under water. They leave their cars parked at the end of the drive way. :b One person's garage is halfway under water. Tons of crops are under water too. This field isn't supposed to have any water. Well named street, eh. _________________

We are in a heat wave here and we are in need of water. Some farmers will have to distribute their water well because I think each farmer will have a certain quantity of water then can use for their crops.
It's just crazy all over the world... _________________
