Oh Rob, don't worry, you didn't spoil it for me....I already spoiled it for myself by reading the Television Without Pity website. It seems to soften the blow for me.

I was the most surprised that they kept Sanjaya because I don't think he is that great and what the heck with getting rid of Sabrina!! She has such an awesome voice. I thought for sure that Hayley would going to go. Just don't understand what was going on with people when they voted..

Everybody see the show last night? I thought Melinda was the class of the field.

To my untrained ears, I thought Sanjaya sang a little better than he usually does. But the judges seemed to come down extra hard on him. If I was in his position, I think I would really resent the judges. They're the ones who put him in the top 24 out of all the thousands who auditioned. And now that he's here, their attitude seems to be: How dare you be here among all these real singers!

But I'm guessing he'll be the one to go tonight. And probably rightfully so.

Yeah I watch it Sanjaya was better then last week but he should go home Melinda Was Great and Phil Stacey was Awsome but i think Melinda or LaKisha is gonna win it all the judges they were hard on Sanjaya but he was not as bad a last week

Good job by the Idols tonight! It was "'60s British Invasion" night, so there were lots of good songs to choose from.

I thought Melinda was the best. Her version of "As Long as He Needs Me" really tugged at the ol' heartstrings. Did you see that young girl in the audience sobbing during her song?

Another one I'm really starting to like is Jordin Sparks. She just keeps getting better every week. I loved her performance tonight. Plus, she's only 17 and seems like such a sweet, likeable kid, and that always helps. Although it's a singing competition, those other factors matter, too.

LaKisha... she's always a favorite, but I didn't care for her song tonight - "Diamonds are Forever," wasn't it?, from the James Bond film of the same name.

I'd bet money that this year's winner will be a girl. They're the stronger side, I think. And I'm guessing it will be a good race between Melinda, LaKisha, and Jordin.

That was a good Idol last night! There wasn't one really bad performance, even Sanjaya! Still want him gone though Whistle

I agree, Rob, Lakisha was not in top form, and I didn't care for that song at all. I agree also about Melinda, Lakisha, & Jordin (who is sounding GREAT lately), but my favorite is Blake. I think he has the whole 'Idol' package as far as performer, original voice/sound, and 'coolness factor'. He's my pick! Thumbsup

(But I still love my girl Lakisha! Wink

I love the song Diamonds are Forever. Lakisha's performance wasn't that great, but it wasn't as bad as Simon said. Kanye West uses the music from that song in one of his raps and it rocks!! Thumbsup

These dj's this morn were really ripping on Melinda. They were so rude. They said she is a fave now, but that will all change and she will get kicked off. They were such jerks! mad

Spoiler alert, if you haven't seen who was kicked off:

I can't believe Chris R. was in the bottom two!! What the heck?!? I didn't mind seeing Stephanie go...I wasn't a fan, but still, she was much better than several other people! When they said Sanjaya, Haley, and Gina stand up, I thought that was the perfect bottom 3! I'm in shock! I'm just glad Chris didn't go...I just can't figure America out! mad

Also, I can't stand that they have all these 'has-been's singing up there. This time, they had two, and that prevented the Idols from doing their routine! I'd much rather see the Idols! Sad5

Why don't they just PAY these people to coach the Idols, not guarantee them a spot on the show! OhMy
