No kidding! Dylan has an album of traditional Christmas songs. When I first heard that, I thought it was a joke. Even in his younger days he didn't exactly have a traditional-sounding voice. And now that he's in his late 60s, his voice is even... less traditional.

Here's the album on Amazon.com. You can scroll down and click the little arrow before each song and hear a sample. Be forewarned... it's interesting. I think Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is the most interesting. You could grate cheese with that voice.

You certainly could!!! WOW. I'm sorry, but I just don't think it gets worse than that. I can't even believe this album is for real!! Personally, I've always thought of Bob Dylan as somewhat of a joke...I honestly have never seen the 'appeal' of his voice, even back in his hay day, you know? I know he wrote with Johnny Cash, who was pretty 'untraditional' himself, but at least there was an 'appeal' to Johnny's voice IMO. I have to wonder how many of these Christmas albums he's going to sell! Whistle

I don't know, Amy, but I can just picture the two old geezers from the Muppet Show having a blast heckling that thing!

I read some of the reviews. One guy called it a Rockwell painting come to life. His voice doesn't bring up those images for me. I agree more with the guy who said, "Bob's 'O Little Town of Bethle-Phlegm' voice ..."
