There's talk on the entertainment scene (according to imdb's daily news thing) that Britney's heading for a breakdown (if she hasn't already). Between the two tattoos and the new buzz, I don't know what's going through that girl's head.

according to the entertainment portion of Associated Press today, Brit's checked into a rehad facility (location was not disclosed). Hopefully she'll get the help she needs.

Well, for the second time, she has checked herself out of the rehab center. I read that K-Fed is headed back to court about the two kids. I haven't heard if he is going to try and seek sole custody or temporary custody of them. Right now, he's looking like the sane one and that isn't saying much!

I have a bit of a different take on this:

I admit that Britney's actions are worrisome, but one has to remember that this is a young woman who has had little to no privacy because the paparazzi is constatly at her heels. In addition, her recent divorce has probably been very painful for her. I think that Britney's choice to shave her head is an outward symbol of the inner destruction insider her. It is also a way for her to exercise control over something in her life.
While this act may be a 'cry for help', one should consider that it just may be a healthy way of expressing her feelings. I'd rather see her bald than see her do something with far more dangerous and permanent consequences....hair will ALWAYS grow back!

This comes from someone who shaved her head when she was 18.

The nest day after Brit saw that she shaved her head she tried to commit suicide. She must have been really under the influence and woke up the next day shouting, What did I do!?

Troubled pop star Britney Spears was photographed last night angrily taking aim at a car with an umbrella, reportedly outside the house where estranged husband Kevin Federline is staying.

Shortly before checking backing in to reahd for the third time in one week , the singer, dressed in white shorts and a hooded jumper, was snapped repeatedly striking the vehicle, according to US TV shows The Insider and Entertainment Tonight.

She was said to have spent 45 minutes outside the residence, before her mother Lynne Spears picked her up and eventually took her to the Promises Malibu Treatment Centre.

Spears' manager confirmed she was back in rehab.

Earlier an appearance in US family court sought by Federline amid a child custody dispute with Spears was cancelled.

Spears and her estranged husband Federline reportedly agreed Wednesday he would keep their two young children while Spears was in rehabilitation, a program that takes between 30 and 45 days.

I really thought the Paris Hilton friendship and possibly even shaving her head were publicity stunts, b/c she hasn't had any in the past 4 years except for her troubled marriage and having her children. But this just seems to get worse and worse - I wonder what kind of publicity could possibly be generated from her bashing her ex-husband's car with an umbrella. Obviously nothing good. I really think she's losing it. I don't think anyone is there "grooming" her image, as perhaps might have been done in the past, and maybe after growing up in an environment of always being told what to do since she became famous at such a young age, now she's out of control.

Britney needs psychiatric help and fast. Otherwise, like Christina said, she's gonna end up like Anna Nicole and that would be so sad. I personally think she's suffering post natal depression and if I were close to her I would be VERY concerned.

Last night I saw a show called "Britney Spears: The Price of Fame" and it basically covered Britney's career to stardom to all her crazy stuff. I actually felt so sorry for Britney because she was really going through such a hard time in her life, she was soo so so lost....
The saddest moment was when she had to be taken to the hospital against her will... there were like about 5 helicopters in the sky and so many police cars and paparazzi cars.... as Britney was strapped down, she was smiling.... later she has a look of being scared...

It's so sad to end up like that.... but it looks like she reconciled with her mom and dad and she is doing better now... she is getting to spend more time with the kids and I hope she continues on this road and doesn't go back to how she was.

I gotta say though.... the paparazzi are so awful! mad
