One of my friends e-mailed me this, and I was surprised to see some of the faces in the montage. I hadn't realized that some of them passed away this year. Dabbs Greer (Reverend Alden) is in the footage. As are a couple of other Andy Griffith Show guest stars.

I recognized Charles Lane from Andy. He made it to the age of 102. Funny, he was an old-timer when he was on the show back in, what... 1962?? OhMy

Isn't that amazing?? I saw him and thought "I'd have thought he died YEARS ago!". Can you imagine the changes that he saw in his lifetime??

Darlene Conley, wasn't she in one of episodes of LH? I think she played a restaurant manager or something, where Laura got a job as a dishwasher. I know she was on "The Bold and The Beautiful" soap opera.

Yes. She was in the episode "A Wiser Heart". (No, I didn't know that from memory. I had to look. GreenSmile ) She was also on Scarecrow & Mrs. King, and Murder, She Wrote - two of my other favorite shows.

I had no idea Dan Fogelberg had died. So many of these were a shock to me. Especialy Richard Jeni....he was my hubby's and my favorite comedian. What a loss.
