| For fans of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman (I know there are quite a few on here), I just recently discovered that the Gospel Music Channel is now showing Dr. Quinn, apparently weekdays at 2pm and 7pm Eastern. Fortunately, my cable system carries this channel. I'd like to see the entire series again from the beginning, but I'll probably have to settle for catching an episode once a week or so. Dr. Quinn is in my top three all-time favorite drama series, along with 7th Heaven and...let's see, what was that other 19th century drama show? _________________ |

Hmmm, well......let me think about that for a bit...perhaps I will recall which one you are talking about. |

| That's fantastic John! I'll have to see if we get the Gospel Channel...I have a feeling we do; one of those upper stations. I LOVE Dr. Quinn too...I own the series and pretty much wore it out. I'm taking a hiatus now, since I got a little burnt-out (never thought it would happen! ), but I'm sure I'll dive back in eventually. Like Little House, even though the dvds are available, sometimes it's nice just to pop on a TV station and see your favorite show. Thanks for the info! _________________ |

| As of last December, I also own the megaset. I have been watching it again, and it just does not get old. For those of you that are readers there is a book also intitled "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman" by Teresa Warfield. It tells of Michaela's life from birth til she accepted the job in Colorado Springs. This is one of those books that will stay in my collection forever along with the dvds. _________________ It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. | Hmm, I'll have to check that out Gin. Although, I find that the best DQ stories are fanfics. Actually, that's not just DQ---I feel that way about most TV series....the X-Files books are silly, but the fanfics are awesome. (Well, most anyway ). The only TV series that I know of where the books are awesome is Little House of course, but that's because the series is based off the books, not the other way around. _________________ |

| It looks like GMC (Gospel Music Channel) is now showing Dr. Quinn weekdays at 1pm and 2pm Eastern and again at 6pm and 7pm Eastern. The evening episodes are repeats of the afternoon episodes. I saw one episode this week. It was one of the older ones. Brian was little, and Erika Flores -- the original Colleen -- was in it. It was the one where Kid Cole (Johnny Cash) and Sister Ruth (June Carter Cash) came to town, and Grace and Robert E got married. I haven't seen the show since it left CBS, and I'm finding I'm getting some of the events and details confused with LHotP. _________________ |

| I love the episodes where Johnny Cash guest stars...there's a Thanksgiving episode he and June star in too---it has the most beautiful Thanksgiving song, one he's never recorded. I love the original Colleen by the way...the show was never the same for me again once Jessica Bowman replaced Erika. Erika, Chad, and Shawn (Matthew & Brian) actually auditioned as the siblings together, and they all won the parts! The chemistry they had was remarkable, and they were so believable as siblings. _________________

Same here. I loved the first few seasons, especially. I should see if I can get The Gospel Channel. |

| Did you notice, Savannah, that Jessica seemed much younger than where the character of Colleen had come to be. Erika had done a great job of maturing her, and when Jessica came aboard, it seemed like she lost a good three years. My favorite seasons are the first three as well. Four was done really well too though...the whole vibe changed after Michaela & Sully got married and I personally liked all the 'tension' before that. _________________ |

| For all you Dr Quinn fans out there, I found this while browsing on youtube. It's Little House meets Dr Quinn and is very well put together. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzbASaaGyjY_________________ "To change your life takes a lot of courage and energy. It's not for wimps." Karen Grassle. April 2006 |

| I've seen that one before...it is SO well done!! I've seen the Tarzan one before too---Sully AND Michaela both totally remind me of Tarzan and Jane. We have a little Disney action figure of Tarzan and he looks just like Sully! Well, except for the loin cloth. Here's the link to the Tarzan one...it is really great--- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCWTtMY_beE_________________
