| Actor James Garner, most famous for his role as the crafty Maverick or as the resourceful P.I. Jim Rockford, recently suffered a stroke. A friend of mine who has a blog about California is accepting get well wishes, which she hopes to pass onto the actor. Feel free to go to Valley Girl Musings @ http://valleygirlmusings.blogspot.com/2008/05/james-garner-suffers-stroke.html and leave a message. _________________ All my life, I wanted to be like you - Laura to Ma in The Last Farewell

| Oh, that is such a shame. I really loved him in John Ritter's show (can't think of the name of that right now), and OH, he was fantastic in the movie "The Notebook". I just looked him up online and luckily they're saying it's a 'minor' stroke and that he should be going home soon. I can't believe he's 80 years old! _________________

| I know, when did Jim Rockford turn 80? I still see him as Rockford, even after all these years. _________________ All my life, I wanted to be like you - Laura to Ma in The Last Farewell
