O.K. Everyone! Since we were discussing scary movies and what the meanings were, let's put a movie up here and discuss it. The first one:

The ring

Synopsis:The Ring, based upon the Japanese horror film Ringu (1998), is a thoroughly unsettling movie that despite its far-fetched storyline, turns out to be a quite worthwhile shock-fest. The Ring centers around an urban legend that tells of a nightmarish video tape that kills all of its viewers in exactly seven days. After the mysteriously coincidental deaths of four teenagers who all viewed the tape, a journalist, played by Niomi Watts, makes the ill-advised decision of watching the tape herself in an attempt to get to the bottom of the mystery. Before long, Watts realizes she has just seven days to uncover the secrets of the tape before its too late. The Ring is a dark film that projects most of its scares through eerie symbolism and quick, flashes of disturbing, nightmarish, imagery. However, the film doesn't make a whole lot of sense and many of its questions are left unanswered. Nether the less, The Ring is a creepy film if ever there was one. You can count on it finding an uncomfortable resting place in your mind long after it's intense ending. Not for the faint of heart, and the PG-13 rating is light to say the least.

I'm with everyone else that parts of this movie had me scratching my head. One of the things that confused me was the part with the horses. What was the meaning with them? I really have no clue what they represented, so let's discuss it.

I can't believe they gave it a PG-13 rating.
I forgot about that horse scene... what exactly happened w/ the horses?

It's been a while since I saw this film.

The main lady was going over to visit where Sanora grew up to see if she could uncover something.

She was on a ferry going over when she stopped by a horse trailer and I believe she was trying to pet the horses inside. Well, it went crazy, broke out of the trailer and ended up going over the side.

I don't why it reacted to her like that; maybe because she had viewed the tape?

I'm wondering if this is one of those movies you have to see a couple times before everything comes clear. The thing with the horses confused me, too. Maybe if I watch it again I'll get it.
